2. Nature of Service & Independent Contractors
Hooten Air Pros operates as a referral and dispatch network connecting residential and commercial consumers in Humble, Texas and surrounding areas with third-party, independent HVAC contractors.
Hooten Air Pros is not a licensed mechanical contractor itself. All physical diagnostic inspections, mechanical repairs, refrigerant handling, permits, and installations are performed exclusively by independent HVAC contractors who maintain valid Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (ACR) credentials and general liability insurance.
3. Estimates, Pricing & Authorization
All price quotes, repair recommendations, and equipment replacement options are provided directly by the independent contractor following an on-site physical evaluation. The customer must authorize all work and agree to the contractor's written terms prior to service commencement. Hooten Air Pros does not dictate individual pricing or guarantee specific contractor availability during peak weather emergencies.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law, Hooten Air Pros shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the performance, workmanship, or delays of any independent contractor referred through this platform.
5. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
